The brief for this project was to create a warm & inviting space which encourages a sense of serenity for the clients, but also more importantly the staff of this centre, who work in the challenging sector of foster care & kinship. Selected design elements such as feature wall paint, VJ panel, VJ groove acoustic & feature pendants were carefully chosen to highlight, accentuate & add texture to the various spaces. Natural materials such as timber, plants & a subtle palette of various shades of green, bring a softness to the various spaces as you move through the centre. The spatial planning takes full advantage of the abundance of natural light visible through a multitude of glass doors & windows. The soft colour palette & nature inspired materials encourage a sense of wellness for all occupants of the space.
