The brief for this project was to create a warm, welcoming and serene space for the clients, but also more importantly the staff of this centre, who work in the challenging sector of foster care & kinship. As budget was a key consideration, selected design elements such as feature wall paint, painted timber battens, VJ panel & feature pendants were carefully chosen to highlight & accentuate the various spaces. Natural materials such as timber, plants & a serene palette of various shades of green bring a softness to the various spaces as you move through the centre. The spatial planning takes full advantage of the natural light encouraging a sense of wellness for all the occupants for the space.
