Safe Space Caboolture is a small fit out with a big heart. This project favourite of the Base team has been designed to create a welcoming and comforting ‘home like’ space for staff and visitors alike. The approach is sympathetic to the gorgeous character building that houses this important centre for the provision of mental health care services to the local community. Furniture and finishes have been carefully curated to suit the project purpose and budget, achieving an eclectic yet balanced blend that results in a warm and inviting aesthetic with broad appeal for its’ varied users. A soft palette of various hues of green, greys, timber and white create a sense of calm and positivity while subtle colour accents, prints and varied textures add a touch of interest.  The space exudes a sense of homeliness making all who enter the space immediately feel at ease and at home. The beautiful lush green garden provides a space for all to relax, contemplate or garden, complete with outdoor furniture and garden beds. Feature banner mesh creates a soft and interesting backdrop to this space while also maintaining privacy from the neighbouring tenancies. Occupying Safe Space Caboolture is like receiving a warm hug – exactly what the design team were aiming to achieve with this unique project.
